Keep Your Lips Moisturized

Welcome back to my space, my online friends! If this is your first time reading my blog or hearing about the brand “Tinurella” welcome!. It’s the holiday season, and I’ve been meaning to say “Merry Christmas” for a long time. This is the season of love, and we get to spend quality time with our loved ones.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR LIPS

Taking care of your skin is very important, especially during the holidays like “Christmas Holiday”, a time when we forget to take additional care of our Skin.

Every season has its own own special characteristics. Most people make the mistake of sticking to their rigid skincare routine, without considering the season they are in. You may also want to read my recent post on “Budget friendly skin care routine at the comfort of your home”. But, todays post is all about Taking care of our Lips during the Harmattan period.

Harmattan is a season in West Africa. Its features consist of Heavy and Dry Wind. This particular season cause hydration, which further leads to the breaking of the skin, hair, and for the sake of this topic, the lips. Lip gloss alone can’t solve all.

your Lips shouldn’t be dry!

HOW TO KEEP YOUR LIPS MOISTURIZE

1) Apply Lip Bam

Lip Bam moisturizes, softens, and penetrates the inner layer of the lips. It further protects your lips when your face is exposed to excess wind, cold or sun rays. Lip balms also help in reducing the pain which is caused due to dryness and heals the lip tissues quickly.

2) Drink Water

Drinking water would keep you hydrated and that includes your lips. Water carries nutrients to all cells in our body and oxygen to our brain, & allows the body to absorb and assimilate minerals, vitamins, amino acids, glucose, and other substances

3) Apply Aloe Vera Gel

When you lips are chapped you end up with cracks, simple place aloe Vera gel on your lips to help heal them. Aloe has anti-inflammatory properties that fight irritation & also infuses your lips with antioxidants that fight wrinkles and other forms of skin damage

4) Healthy Diet

Any good nourishment taken gets reflected from rosy lips. Your food should include lots of green vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts, whole grain and other nutrients. Healthy lips are the part of healthy body.

5) Don’t lick your Lips everytime

Do not lick the lips constantly; first it removes any moisturizer applied on lips and other thing it does, it strips all the natural moisture from lips.

6) Apply Lipstick

Apply lipstick using right method by using a lips brush. Choose lipstick having vitamin E moisturizer and sun protection properties in it. This type of lipstick apart from lending color to the lips, keeps them moisturized and protected from damaging sun rays.
